Matthieu is a strategy and economic development expert and provides insights and recommendations in various areas of national economic, social, and business development to government, large private and state-owned corporations, family conglomerates, and sovereign wealth funds. In his role as head of the Public Sector and Policy practice in IMEA, he leads the development of innovative ideas, leveraging his experience and the broad range of capabilities from Oliver Wyman and Marsh McLennan.

Matthieu is known for driving and supporting the development of economic development strategies. He has extensive experience in the Middle East and Africa and is often working across the globe as an expert with a focus on emerging markets.
With a background in Civil Engineering and Architecture, complemented with an MBA in Finance and Economic Development, Matthieu started his career in Europe, where he worked on a range of industries including retail, process industries, logistics, real estate, and telecom on issues related to M&A and merger integration, productivity, asset management, operational effectiveness, export and growth strategy, foreign direct investment, procurement and supply chain, and organization and transformation. Prior to Oliver Wyman, Matthieu was a core and initial founding member of the A.T. Kearney Public Sector and Government practice in the Middle East, where he’s now been working for close to a decade.
