François is a Partner and leads the Actuarial practice in Paris, France. A certified actuary, François Beugin, has two decades of experience and expertise in risk assessment and financial evaluation of transformational transactions for leading financial institutions, especially insurance groups. He and his team provide their expertise and knowledge through leading-edge actuarial consulting services to help clients manage and assess their risk, solvency and capital, as well as quantitatively analyze their transformational transactions and strategy.

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, François Beugin spent five years as the Actuarial Risk, Finance and Data Modeling Partner at a leading Big 4 accounting firm in France. He has also worked a decade for the Financial Institutions Group of two leading global investment banks, with a focus on the coverage of major European insurance accounts. Prior to that, he worked couple of years as an actuarial consultant in a leading global actuarial advisory firm.

With an engineering degree of the Ecole Polytechnique  and a master’s degree of the Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Economique, he initially qualified as an actuary with professional experience acquired in actuarial departments of two French insurance companies, and is now a certified actuary of the French Institute of Actuaries.​
