As a Partner, Akshay is focused on corporate healthcare clients, spanning pharma, med-tech, health systems, providers, and digital health. He supports his teams in getting to the root of the issue quickly and accurately, and effectively communicating the identified problem in a structured way. A pivotal moment for Akshay was when his family moved abroad when he was 12 years old. “This changed the way for me - to think of the art of the possible and not only to reform to a single way of thinking,” he says.
In the future, Akshay plans to use this perspective to expand Oliver Wyman’s healthcare and life science practice to support a further range of European clients on various topics, in turn expanding the Oliver Wyman team and bringing in new capabilities.
Outside of the office, Akshay is a father to two children and enjoys playing squash and cycling, and sports (particularly cricket).
