Nick Studer spoke with Financial News for their leadership column ‘An Audience With’. During the interview, Nick touched on what matters to him as a CEO of Oliver Wyman and the firm’s ambitions.
In addition to discussing how the firm wants to build even more relationships with senior executives and broaden the scope of consultancy beyond financial services, Nick also highlighted ways to prevent burnout among consultants and his flexible approach to work schedules: “We've tried so many things over the years – no work outside these hours or no calls outside these hours. But actually, what you find out is that different people like to work in different ways.”
Nick also commented on the firm’s approach to hybrid model of work: “Broadly speaking, it's usually better to be together, but we want to do it with purpose.”
